Blackened eyes?

Instead of taking a photo of the trailer how about grabbing the entire video with your cell phone or something?
I knew there would be some footage soon. The studios, even when they are being very secretive, are happy nowadays to start initial hype this early. I cant wait to see some sort of footage, I'm so excited! OOPS, I may have just had an accident!
I wonder if Chris has seen the comic-con stills, some of the things he describes match up with them. But the stuff we haven't heard of:
- Sunny & desert-like planet (could even be Earth!)
- Something moving in their abdomens
- Black eyes and altered faces
Sounds great!

This trailer will be like the "blink of an eye" trailer. Fast cuts and edits and music that will over power the trailer. It is a good guess that we will see a trailer during the halloween week. A perfect time to release it and something Scott would do.

We've sent Fox an email requesting clarification on this recent news and also information on the actual scheduled release for the Prometheus trailer.
In all honesty, we don't expect Fox to disclose such information at this time, but in the event that we do recieve some info on the subject, we'll be sure to let all of you know.
Keep checking back until we get a response!
Who knows the thing will be out some time next week I we may see it the or when mission impossible4 is released. I am so happy that the more I hear about this movie the better its sounding! Espicially the nod to the title sequence of alien. I hope when the dvd comes out they give it a documentary like how blade runner had darkest days. Also action figures too.

@ Christopher Duvall, an email has been sent to you.
@ Predatordreads, It's very possible FOX will tie the trailer in with The Thing, nearing Halloween; as some have mentioned already. It would certainly set the tone of mood for Prometheus.

We are sorry to report the unfortunate deletion of our original post for this article. As it turns out, the leaked information we recieved was in fact accurate and did describe the official Prometheus trailer. We thank Chris for the find and for sharing this exclusive content with us here at Prometheus-Movie.com, but we do not want anyone being punished for leaking information so the post has since been removed.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for understanding.
Well I didn't really think that what was described in the trailer was much different than that which we've already heard. It sounded very much like the comic-con footage. Not only that the deleted trailer description is easily available at other sites with a simple Google search.

True, but we are respecting the rights of our contributors in removing the post and we have asked multiple sites who sourced us to do the same. As much as I agree with you Unadan, we don't want anyone catching heat for this.
Agreed! I'm hoping we see the trailer as an opening to the upcoming "The Thing" remake.

It is more than possible at this point Unaban, with this recent news, I expect a trailer to hit theatres this month at the earliest.

I dont see how the description stuff, fox asked us to remove, could be any revealing?
Oh well... I can't wait for the trailer >.<

Just some advice for the future, it would probably be smart to not ask Fox for confirmation for leaks, especially when they're keen to keep things from leaking out. This is only if you want to keep leaks on the site for as long as possible of course. If you don't mind Fox taking your stuff, then go ahead.
That's like being a drug addict and finding a bag of cocaine on the ground, only to take it to the nearest cop and ask if it's real before you try some. You're not going to get your fix and open yourself up to getting in trouble.
Xenotron, that was actually perfect comparison of how addicted I think alot of us are to this film!

@Xenotron, I understand where you're coming from and I didn't think it revealed too much either and that it shouldn't have been a problem to keep it posted up. But we were also asked by Chris to take the post down. We respect our sources and conrtributors and as I said earlier, we don't want anyone getitng in trouble. In a way, it shows that we did in fact recieve legit news. But with the recent speculations and false information leaked on various sites, contacting FOX is the only way we are able to really provide REAL and OFFICIAL news to the fans. Especially when it's concerning a teaser trailer. It's what we base our reputation on - official news.
You can still read it on many sites who got the scoop before we removed it.

I see, did he not like having his full name attributed with the comments? That makes sense.

it is a good bet that we will see the trailer with the new Justin Timberlake film, "In Time" on October 28th, which is a perfect for the release, right near Halloween.

There is an issue now about Fox having you remove a post that describes the trailer. That is a breach of "freedom of speech (Right to Religion and Expression)" U.S.'s first amendment rights governing California where Chris D. lives since you're up north of the border the UN Universal Human Rights would take precedence Articles 12 & 19.
Article 12.
No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.
Article 19.
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
Right here Fox arbitrarily had you remove correspondence that you and Chris had regarding his experience viewing the Trailer that was posted up for everyone to read, and thus arbitrary interference.
This is also a breach of ethics. Contact an attorney to verify and then tell them to pound sand, just my opinion.
I appreciate Chris's plight and would do the same for him, I just hate being bullied by the corporation.
Prometheus Priority One all other Priorities Recinded.
Regards,
Rick

We appreciate the post Rick and if FOX had demanded we remove the post without any words from Chris, we would have argued it. But Fox was giving Chris grief apparently, and because of this, Chris requested we remove the post due to the situation. I did as we asked because it was his post after all.
So, Fox indirectly wanted it taken down. The deciding factor was Chris' request to have the post removed.
But thank you Rick, you are correct.

I know you guys do, and I know it was, hence me saying I would do the same in your position. Since Chris is a member here maybe he'll read this but I doubt he'd have any interest in dealing with the long fight that I am sure would ensue with company throwing its weight around, I mean Fox.

Without a doubt. But need not worry Rick (and the rest of this community), you can still read it on a variety of other blogs around the net. ComicBookMovie.com, ScreenRant.com and AlienPrequelNews.com managed to get a copy of the article before we deleted it.

Hi.
Before I start up I must say that Iīm not intending to act as attorney for the 20th century Fox Film Studios.
But... letīs recollect several given facts at this point:
1.) The movieīs a high budget production with xtensively settings and structures.
2.) It is shot in 3D, which means that many of the filmīs takes/sequences require special retreatment in post production process which is still due. Even if it is fun for its graphic artists or cinematographs to experiment with all their possibilities (or maybe even extend it to those of Lukas Arts) Prometheus crew wonīt chance to give away their clues, because theyīre all intermediary bound by contract with each other; and again: the production is now and itīs still under construction.
3.) This argument is a bit philosophical and longs back to the original Alien movie of 1979. For sure it was path breaking for sci-fi genre and spaced out, too because of its dark ambient and ambivalent visions and all; but wasnīt it also its implications with factual social conditions of a post-modern society, as it was in many other sci-fi movies of those days? (E.g. sending emails (text messages), as well as different bionic plastic and design elemnts, which fade over to the synthetic resin outlook of the alien.
So there had been measurable future tendencies executed excessively (greed for technological advance) on the one hand. That, on the other hand was sharply contrasted by but sneakily interwined with the inconceivable of the alien (s) reproduction cycles...
Today, we sci-fi fans are jaded with all sorts of action based on horror stories.
In conclusion I must say, some fresh ideas are never compensatable just with special effects, pornographic or action elements.
Unfortunately this is it what makes a film theatre and a studios account full.
My humble self is still more setting great store on a good story line-this is why I hope for, at least, a good dystopia according to aliens genetic engineering rather than putting large distances back in space and sleeping all day.
So, donīt get me wrong; besides there are so many arguments to leave audience in the dark, thereīs actually none of keeping a trailer a secret.
P.S. According to one of the actors the storyline will be a surprisingly and cleverly layered again, in some ways, which will make me expect not the worst. Letīs hope itīs not just empty words.

*POSSIBLE SPOILER*
Out of the stills taken from ComiCon footage, it's evident there's a distressing looking shot of a female trying to exit a "mess hall" - but staggering as if metamorphosing. You can see her legs are folding back on themselves, and importantly, resembling a space jockeys limbs.
The Metamorphosis sequences (I assume there'll be a few) may well leave the same indelible imagery that the chestbursting scene did 30 years ago.
Unconfirmed, but possible judging from the stills.
look closely to the details of an aliens body (details his ribs legs arms) look alike to the space jockey

After giving it much thought if I were to predict a release of the trailer, I would put my money on the new movie "the thing" coming out this Friday.
The movie holds many things in common with Prometheus, and they tend to advertise on similar films to attract the right crowd.
You would not see a trailer for Prometheus on a Shrek movie would you?
Just a thought.
